Job Summary
Therapy Development Specialist responsible for providing clinical and product training to new and existing TearCare customers, driving usage and sales growth of the TearCare System, and collaborating with the Ocular Surface Representative. Key duties include in-office training and product integration, developing practice-specific plans to optimize workflow and patient treatment in a reimbursed environment, maintaining CRM data and forecasting, utilizing TearCare clinical data in discussions with ECPs, implementing marketing plans, attending conferences, staying current on dry eye technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance (FDA QSR, ISO 13485), and maintaining professional relationships with providers, vendors, and co-workers. Travel and field activities to multiple healthcare facilities with a hybrid remote working arrangement in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in clinical optometric/ophthalmic setting
- Education and experience in an eye care practice setting with in-office interventional technologies (preferred)
- Experience in training and/or coaching
- Knowledge of market access and reimbursement
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (20-40% overnight)
