Job Summary
Oversee the rehabilitation department to align resident needs with company financial goals and federal/state regulations. Assign patient scheduling, delegate staff responsibilities, and coordinate departmental functions to promote operational efficiency. Communicate with facility administration regarding goals, risks, and achievements while participating in interdisciplinary meetings for utilization review and quality assurance. Ensure timely MDS reporting, oversee accurate billing and documentation, and apply relevant billing models to deliver clinically appropriate care with measurable outcomes. Adhere to infection control protocols, maintain state licensure, and ensure compliance with the state practice act.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Maintain a valid state license (as applicable).
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
