Job Summary
Therapy Clinician for Bendigo Health’s Mental Health Therapy Team (15+ clients; includes Nursing, OT, Social Work, Psychologists). Providing evidence-based psychotherapies for eating disorders and other psychiatric diagnoses within a multidisciplinary, recovery-focused framework. Role involves comprehensive assessments, psychometric testing as appropriate, delivering brief psychological interventions, and collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurses, OTs, social workers and peer workers. Works within a state-of-the-art hospital setting across the Bendigo Health division, contributing to patient-centred care, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements. Requires immunisation evidence on onboarding; part-time ongoing employment with up to 64 hours per fortnight. Close collaboration with diverse clinical teams to support patients’ mental health and recovery goals.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering evidence-based psychotherapies for eating disorders
- Multidisciplinary teamwork with nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers
- Ability to assess and treat clients aged 16+ within mental health settings
- DSM-5 diagnostic considerations
- Commitment to recovery-based, patient-centred care
- Experience with psychometric assessments and brief psychological interventions
