Therapy Care Specialist - Specialty Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
Coordinate specialty infusion pharmacy patient care by acting as the single point of contact for medication dispense and delivery logistics. Capture assessment data, ascertain supply needs, and schedule new and refill deliveries under pharmacy supervision. Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports, manage refill queues, and send orders to physicians for signature. Maintain active patient insurance coverage by pursuing authorizations and re-authorizations with branch-level billing staff. Document all patient interactions and care coordination in the designated system of record. Complete required therapy-specific training and answer phones to warm transfer calls to appropriate locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 100 percent in office
- Must be able to work Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm CST, 40 hours per week
- Must be a Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician for the state of Arizona
- Must be PTCB or NHA Certified
- Prior experience in home infusion, compounding and/or specialty pharmacy required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered/Licensed Pharmacy Technician license required for the state of Arizona in goodstanding
- PTCB/NHA Certification Required
- Prior experience scheduling patient refill deliveries
- Prior customer service/patient services experience
- Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with scheduling deliveries for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients
