Therapy Care Specialist - Specialty Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
Coordinate timely medication dispense and delivery for specialty pharmacy patients by acting as the single point of contact and liaising with branch personnel. Capture assessment data, ascertain supply needs, and schedule new and refill deliveries under pharmacist supervision. Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports, answer phones, monitor faxes, and manage refill queues. Send orders to physicians for signature and work with intake staff to maintain active insurance coverage and pursue authorizations. Document all patient interactions in the system of record. Requires a Colorado-licensed pharmacy technician, PTCB or NHA certification, and experience with home infusion and delivery scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 100 percent in office
- Must be able to work Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm CST, 40 hours per week
- Must be a Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician for the state of Colorado
- Must be PTCB or NHA Certified
- Prior experience in home infusion, compounding and/or specialty pharmacy required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered/Licensed Pharmacy Technician license required for the state of Colorado in goodstanding
- PTCB/NHA Certification Required
- Prior experience scheduling patient refill deliveries
- Prior customer service/patient services experience
- Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with scheduling deliveries for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients
