Job Summary
Therapy Business Manager responsible for the development and performance of all sales strategies in the assigned market, driving primary and secondary sales and ensuring brand presence. Manages distributor networks to achieve financial objectives and compliance with Abbott Code of Business Conduct. Activities include territory planning, monthly/quarterly business planning, demand generation and fulfillment, doctor/chemist engagement, organizing CME programs, and achieving defined sales targets. Lead customer management plans, conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion, and participate in strategy meetings and doctor meets. Must oversee KPIs such as 100% doctor coverage, call averages, and market intelligence collection, with remote work based out of Hyderabad, India. Role requires travel and adherence to company ethics and values (Pioneering, Achieving, Caring, Enduring).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of experience
- Experience in pharma sales or related field preferred
- Fluent and confident in communication
- Experience with doctors and chemists in promotion of products
- Candidates from MNC and top Indian pharma companies will have added advantages
