Job Summary
Implement instructional programs and evidence-based treatment protocols in a preschool classroom under Speech-Language Pathologist oversight. Effectively implement behavior management strategies, prepare and lead specified group activities, and assist with classroom organization and material development. Provide basic care needs for students, collect and enter progress data, and support parent communication and training. Clean, organize, and maintain the classroom environment. Complete required medical, behavioral, and in-service training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- College classes in Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with young children
- Experience as a paraprofessional with young children with autism and implementing treatment protocols in a classroom or childcare setting
