Therapy Assistant - Physiotherapy

Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in home settings, assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility. Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore independence. Follow individualized plans of care to deliver personalized recovery support while building meaningful relationships with patients. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and participate in team meetings, in-services, and ongoing training to uphold clinical standards. Requires a current PTA license, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
