Job Summary
Assist with allied health programs for clients in the home, within the scope of ability and training, to meet client needs. Communicate with the team regarding care provided to clients on an ongoing basis to ensure activities and care are consistent with changing client needs. Identify areas for ongoing training and development and maintain confidentiality of information. Contracted working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm, with availability sought up to 4pm. This community role covers Geraldton and surrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Cert 4 in Allied Health
- Cert 4 Allied Health Assistance
- evidence of working towards Cert 4 Allied Health
- Demonstrated experience in aged care activities
- Demonstrated experience in speech therapies
- Demonstrated experience in mobility therapies
- Demonstrated experience in occupational therapies
- Demonstrated experience in cognitive therapies
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Well Developed communication skills
- Well Developed time management skills
- Well Developed organisational skills
- Contracted working hours Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm
- Availability up to 4pm
- Location: Geraldton and surrounds

- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
