Job Summary
Conduct patient-related activities and transport patients to therapy spaces as directed by supervising therapists or the Director of Rehab. Assist with patient preparation, including dressing, undressing, and application of appliances, while supporting ambulation and activities of daily living. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain the therapy department, manage equipment logistics, and complete assigned clerical tasks. Lift and transfer patients up to 70 pounds ten times daily, standing or walking for 80-90% of the shift. Requires high school education, ability to read written directions and perform basic math, and proficiency in keyboard and computer tasks.

- Must be able to perform basic math tasks
- Must be able to write
- Must be able to perform keyboard and computer tasks at a level necessary to accomplish this job
- Verbal communication skills at a level necessary to accomplish this job
- High school education
- Must be able to lift and transfer patients to and from all surfaces a minimum of 10 times per day
- Must be able to lift approximately 50-70 pounds a minimum of 10 times per day
- A Rehab Aide spends 80-90% of time standing/walking
- A Rehab Aide spends 10-20% of time sitting
- Proficient with use of hands for repetitive grasping, pushing-pulling, and fine motor manipulation
- Exhibits good visual acuity skills
- Able to bend, reach, climb, kneel (60-80% of day)
- Must be able to perform CPR, if required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the health care field is a plus
