Job Summary
Therapist role delivering face-to-face and virtual behavioral health therapy to children, youth, and families under clinical supervision in Fairmont, WV. Responsibilities include individual, group, and family mental health services; case management; transportation; documentation; training; and meeting productivity thresholds. Travel to deliver community-based services, coordinate and monitor youth and family services across mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services; update and adjust youth-based plans; maintain relationships with foster parents and families; assist in family reunification and stabilization efforts aligned with the youth’s case plan; provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required; participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and weekly supervision. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and active clinical license (LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) with flexibility for non-traditional hours; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; and a commitment to culturally responsive practice. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution
- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred
- A valid advanced professional license preferred: LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or LMSW preferred, or license-eligible
- A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served
