Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in grades K-12 as part of the STARS school-based mental health program, focusing on addressing school avoidance and improving attendance. Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; collaborate with school personnel, families, and other service providers; monitor progress and adjust plans; maintain accurate clinical documentation compliant with agencies and school districts; maintain a caseload of 20-25 clients with weekly sessions for students and their families; must be able to travel up to 60% and work within managed care concepts. Requires a Master’s degree and Maryland licensure (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC); bilingual Spanish is a plus; compensation ranges from $63,500 to $85,000 based on licensure and experience; benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related discipline
- Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, or LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC
- Previous experience doing psychotherapy desired
- Ability to travel 60% of the time
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
