Therapist/Social Worker - Youth Crisis Center

Job Summary
Perform clinical services including intakes, group, individual, and family therapy, crisis intervention, and expressive therapy. Maintain service documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, and court reports while conducting case reviews to determine treatment planning. Collaborate with external agents including school officials and family members, and formulate clinical diagnoses and treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse cases. Attend staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, and clinical seminars, and write correspondence on behalf of clients. Requires a Master's degree with licensure and three to six months of internship experience. Full-time position with potential twenty-four-hour call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social services field
- Certification or licensure in area of specialization (e.g., LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate)
- Three to six months of related internship or practicum experience
- Basic knowledge of mental and physical characteristics of applicable population group (e.g., growth and development and range of treatment needed)
- Basic knowledge of psychotherapy
- Basic knowledge of human behavior
- Basic knowledge of treatment modes
- Basic knowledge of related issues
- Ability to handle a case load with varying levels of client disability and need
- Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations
