Therapist/Social Worker - Child and Family division

Job Summary
Provides clinical services including intakes and therapeutic interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy, and crisis intervention. Documents psychosocial assessments, case notes, and court reports; develops treatment plans and conducts case reviews to determine current and future treatment based on client progress. Collaborates with school officials, family members, and other health agencies; attends staff and treatment planning meetings and prepares correspondence for clients and families. Requires a Master's degree in social services with licensure/certification and supports full-time employment in Louisville, KY. Vaccinations for COVID and Influenza are required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social services field with certification or licensure in area of specialization (e.g., LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate)
- Three to six months of related internship or practicum experience
- Basic knowledge of mental and physical characteristics of applicable population group; psychotherapy, human behavior, treatment modes, and related issues
- Basic knowledge of community resources and SCS services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a case load with varying levels of client disability and need
- Not practicing without a license or evading professional licensing/certification laws (must sign notes as professional equivalents)
- All staff are expected to follow safety management and Joint Commission standards
