Job Summary
Assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate outcomes while administering prescribed medications. Provide health teaching to patients, families, and significant others. Collaborate with the care team, participate in activities improving health care delivery, and offer clinical leadership. Support lifelong learning and complete assigned goals. Requires recent clinical respiratory care experience in a hospital, home care, or skilled nursing facility setting with an RRT credential and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing facility) and/or previous respiratory care practice.
- Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation.
- Basic computer knowledge using Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office.
- RRT
- BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year hospital experience.
- ACLS
