Job Summary
Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes while administering prescribed medications. Provide health teaching to patients, families, and significant others. Collaborate with the care team to improve health care delivery and provide clinical leadership. Support lifelong learning and complete assigned goals. Requires current state license and RRT credential with BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Basic computer literacy using Windows and Microsoft Office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license
- RRT;BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- Basic computer knowledge using Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office
- Successful completion of entry and advanced level exams for RCPs
- Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation
Desired Qualifications
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing facility) and/or previous respiratory care practice
- 1 year hospital experience
- RRT credential in accordance to the National Board of Respiratory Care
- ABG endorsed
- ACLS
