Job Summary
Assess patients, develop and implement complex plans of care, and evaluate results while administering prescribed medications. Provide health teaching to patients, families, and significant others. Collaborate with other caregivers to deliver respiratory care and participate in activities improving health care delivery. Offer clinical leadership and support lifelong learning by completing assigned goals. Maintain current state licensure and RRT credential. Requires recent clinical respiratory care experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing facility) and/or previous respiratory care practice.
- Current state license.
- State license and/or "RRT" credential in accordance to the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Basic computer knowledge using Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office.
- RRT;BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- Successful completion of entry and advanced level exams for RCPs. ABG endorsed, if applicable.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year hospital experience.
- Hospital and Departmental Orientation.
- Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation.
- Computer literacy
- ACLS
