Job Summary
Assess patients, implement and evaluate care plans, administer medications, and provide health teaching to patients, families, and significant others. Collaborate with team members to improve health care delivery and participate in activities designed to enhance patient outcomes. Deliver clinical leadership while supporting lifelong learning and completing assigned goals. Maintain current state licensure and CRT credential, with BLS certification required within 14 days of hire. ACLS certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing facility) and/or previous respiratory care practice
- Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation
- Basic computer knowledge using Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office
- BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- CRT
- Successful completion of entry level exam for RCPs. ABG endorsed, if applicable
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year hospital experience
- ACLS
