Job Summary
Provide crisis and behavior stabilization services and conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals with high acuity mental and behavioral health needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop person-centered treatment plans and coordinate with system partners for direct admission and necessary evaluations. Deliver short-term limited, evidence-based counseling in individual and group settings while referring clients to outpatient facilities for continuity of care. Maintain adherence to company policies and demonstrate distress-tolerance to ensure safety and quality care for all community members. Requires Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work, current LCPC or LCSW licensure in Maryland, and two years of counseling experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Clinical Psychology (MA or MS)
- Master's in Social Work (MSW)
- 2 years of experience as a counseling professional
- Completion of Licensure Supervisory Hours
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products
- Current LCPC or LCSW licensure in Maryland
- Current BLS Certification
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer workstation
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching
- Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds at times
- Seeks guidance / help proactively to support safety and quality care
- Demonstrates skill of distress-tolerance to maintain calm and safety
- Models positive regard with all members of the community of care
- Establishes and maintains interpersonal boundaries
