Therapist - Residential Program

Job Summary
Therapist in our Residential Program provides trauma-informed individual and/or family therapy to youth admitted to our Residential Treatment Program, develops treatment plans with youth and their families, creates transition plans, documents using Carelogic EHR, collaborates with guardians, case workers, and community partners, attends psychiatric medical consults as indicated, gathers psychosocial information for treatment decisions, and meets program quality and billing requirements. Requires a Master’s degree in a Human Service field, an active professional license (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC/LMFT), prior mental health therapy experience, strong interpersonal and crisis-management skills, willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends, and a valid driver's license. The role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The position is based at the Hamilton East Campus in Cincinnati, OH, and emphasizes treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with families and care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a Human Service related field from an accredited college
- Professional license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT) in good standing
- Previous mental health therapy experience with understanding of various mental health diagnoses
- Knowledge in local and federal regulations to provide client advocacy
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
- Ability to assess, monitor and record client's mental status and develop/implement treatment plans
- Analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm in crisis situations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance
- Criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test
- Ability to work outside regular hours as needed (evenings/weekends)
