Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions for youth with co-occurring disorders. Deliver crisis assessment and intervention as needed while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Participate in weekly staff meetings, supervision, and regularly scheduled training to ensure services support client stability and community functioning. Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment across office-based and community settings, with a schedule including evenings on Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a masters-level clinician in the State of Utah
- Active license in the State of Utah as a CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, or MFT
- Experience in completing behavioral health assessments and providing clinical care to youth and their families
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, managing clients in acute behavioral health crisis
- Demonstrates the skills necessary to motivate and engage individuals
- Good organizational and practice management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Considerable knowledge of the techniques and principles of child and family development and family systems theory
- Considerable knowledge of trauma-informed care, including screening, assessing, and treating from a trauma-informed lens
- Ability to work in environments where exposure to unpredictable or emotionally charged situations may occur while maintaining professional composure and situational awareness
- Must pass a Spanish assessment (for the $3,000 Spanish-language incentive annual stipend)
Desired Qualifications
- Fully-licensed LCSW
- Experience and knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
- Experience working with youth across varying levels of acuity and care
- Spanish-speaking
- Must be able to work in a combination of office-based and community-based settings
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet program needs
- Must be available for Thursday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Must be available for Friday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
