Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing clinical services to children/adolescents in foster care and their families, facilitating individual, family, and group counseling sessions. Key responsibilities include making referrals for health, well-being, and educational needs, participating in team meetings, collaborating with other providers, advocating for consumers, and monitoring service provision. A strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches is required, with the ability to engage with consumers effectively. Candidates must be willing to work in various settings and possess relevant licensing and educational qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology from an accredited graduate school
- Current State of Georgia LPC, LMFT or LCSW License
- One (1) year of paid experience in the mental health field
- Some experience providing services in a residential behavioral health setting
- Some experience providing services in an outpatient setting
