Job Summary
The Licensed Therapist provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and group psychotherapy and conducts treatment planning and discharge planning to support patient progress. Responsibilities include completing social work assessments and integrated formulations, coordinating admissions and continuity of care with community resources, and maintaining family communication under signed consent. The role participates in treatment-team activities, documents services in the medical record, contributes to staff development, and may provide on-call coverage. Compliance with licensing/certification boards (State of Louisiana) and Joint Commission standards is required; candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and be in the process of or possess licensure (LMSW/LCSW or PLPC/LPC) and maintain CPR and CPI certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Must be in the process or have already obtained a license (LMSW or LCSW; or PLPC/LPC)
- Must maintain CPR and CPI certifications
