Job Summary
Evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals and provides treatment according to a written plan of care to meet established goals. Includes discharge planning information, documentation in the medical record, supervision of clinical students and support staff, and participation in activities to improve health care delivery. Requires basic computer literacy and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; role involves hospital-based physical therapy with opportunity to contribute to staff and student development and to serve as a resource for performance improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience or advanced training and certification in area of primary assignment
