Job Summary
Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families; conducts counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments, and the preparation and delivery of individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor. Responsibilities include documenting client progress, collaborating with care teams and referral sources, and participating in care conferences; ensures HIPAA compliance and professional conduct. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling (or Bachelor's with a valid LSW license in some cases), active Ohio clinical license (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC), and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience including outpatient experience. Proficiency with EHR, telemedicine, and related software is expected. Location: Logan, Ohio (onsite outpatient setting).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited university
- Active Ohio license to provide clinical counseling services
- Licensure: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in an outpatient setting
- Background checks as required by policy and law
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse client populations
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), telemedicine, and related software
