Job Summary

Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to restore function in patients with disease or injury. Implement treatment plans, select activities to progress patients toward goals, and revise plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, and document evaluations, sessions, and required reports per departmental guidelines. Maintain attendance, adhere to dress codes, observe infection prevention precautions, and participate in staff meetings and training. Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies and standards of work.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Occupational Therapy
  • Bachelors Occupational Therapy
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Team oriented
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
