Therapist Nurturing Connections

The Therapist provides direct behavioral health services to birthing people, caregivers, and young children (0-5) including short-term therapy, crisis intervention, and dyadic treatment focused on parent–child bonding, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and social-emotional development. Responsibilities include field-based service delivery (home, school, community, or agency sites), care coordination, referrals to internal clinical teams for higher levels of care, documenting services in EHRS, supervision by the Program Manager, and adherence to trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. Duties also cover screening, group facilitation, ensuring timely documentation (within 24 hours), maintaining licensure, providing telephone crisis support, collaborating with partners, and travel between Foothill Family sites in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. Position requires Licensure or CA intern status (LCSW/LMFT or registered Associate), Master’s degree, child/adolescent and family therapy experience, knowledge of DSM-5, bilingual English/Spanish, and a valid CA driver’s license. The role supports mission, maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, and contributes to PQI goals.
