Job Summary
Licensed Professional of Healing Arts (LPHA) will provide individual, family, and group counseling to youth with serious emotional disturbances. Responsibilities include conducting psychological diagnostic interviews, treatment planning, and delivering services in compliance with Texas Medicaid regulations. Accurate documentation and attendance at Wraparound Team meetings are essential. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and active Texas licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), along with experience in home or community-based mental health services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health required
- Active Professional Licensure in psychology, counseling, or social work required
- Valid Texas Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) Required
- Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Foster care experience is a plus
- Play Therapy experience is a plus
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking Applicant is preferred
