Job Summary
Intake/assessment-focused therapist role at AMHR on the Connect to Care team, providing clinical services from intake to closure, conducting diagnostic assessments, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include individual, family, and/or group therapy; developing and monitoring treatment plans; crisis intervention; case management; collaboration with partners; documentation and credentialing support; and ensuring appropriate insurance authorizations. Qualifications emphasize advanced counseling education, licensure pursuit within 30 days, and relevant clinical experience with DSM-V knowledge; bilingual differential pay available. On-site schedule with standard and potential extended hours post-training; compensation aligns with licensure and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in professional counseling from an APA-accredited program or CACREP/CSWE-accredited program
- Must obtain mental health Candidate Permit within 30 days of hire and pursue independent clinical licensure
- Preferred: at least one year of clinical experience (for licensed) or two years (for licensed therapist/licensed psychologist) with diagnosis, intake assessments, and therapy
- Colorado licensure requirement or out-of-state licensure transfer
- Knowledge of theories and evidence-based practices related to clinical treatment
- Ability to learn and utilize an electronic health record (EHR)
- Knowledge of DSM-V
- Vaccination and TB test compliance (annual influenza shot and TB test)
- Ability to document and coordinate with third-party payers/credentialing
- Ability to provide crisis intervention when needed
- Bilingual language differential pay eligibility (language requirements)
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Licensure options: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PSYD) or equivalent
