Job Summary
Provides respiratory therapy in mechanical ventilation across critical care, inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings; serves as a resource for respiratory care staff and care teams; communicates with care teams, patients, family members, and coworkers; participates in professional development and serves as an educational resource for department trainees; requires NBRC-credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist and Massachusetts licensure; Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy with BS preferred; NICU/PICU experience and related certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; graduates of a BS Degree Respiratory Therapy program preferred.
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
- NICU and PICU experience preferred.
- NPS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred.
- One to two years as a Respiratory Therapist I is required.
