Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents. Serve as the primary clinical contact for parents and guardians while collaborating with psychiatrists, nursing, and case management to coordinate care. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, support crisis intervention, and manage discharge planning. Complete timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with Medicaid and South Carolina regulations. This role involves occasional evening flexibility, family sessions, and on-call rotation within a 24-hour residential facility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active South Carolina professional license such as: LPC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT, or equivalent clinical license eligible to practice in a PRTF
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care
- Criminal background screening
- Drug screening
- Health screening, as applicable
- Valid driver's license if transportation responsibilities are assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in residential treatment, inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric, or child and adolescent settings
- Experience with crisis intervention and complex behavioral health presentations
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation requirements and electronic health records
