Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnostic screenings, and evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals with mental illness, behavior problems, or substance misuse. Deliver individual, family, group, and collateral therapy while independently developing person-centered treatment plans. Manage intake, referrals, and crisis response coordination, including on-call rotation through Adult Crisis Services. Collaborate with internal teams, case managers, psychiatry, and external partners like courts and schools to support continuity of care. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and adhere to ethical standards and state regulations. Requires Kentucky licensure and ability to work flexible hours across clinic, community, and home settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family, Psychology or related mental health field from an accredited institution
- Must be fully licensed in Kentucky (LCSW, LPCC, LPA, LPP, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Carry no history of malpractice or board sanctions
- Must pass Criminal Record Check and Sexual Offender Registry Check
- Ability to work independently regarding scheduling time, organizing workload, completing a variety of task in a timely manner, and functioning with professionals from other disciplines in a cooperative and helpful manner
- Ability to sit for extended periods during sessions and documentation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and travel between clinic sites or community settings as needed
- Must participate in regional on-call schedule rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with severe mental illnesses, severe emotional disturbances and/or substance use disorders in a psychotherapy setting preferred
