Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnostic screenings, and evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals with mental illness, behavior problems, or substance misuse. Deliver individual, family, collateral, psychoeducation, and group services across clinic, community, and home settings while independently developing treatment plans. Participate in crisis response, intake, and interdisciplinary coordination with case managers, psychiatry, and external partners like courts and schools. Maintain accurate electronic documentation and adhere to ethical standards and state regulations. Requires full Kentucky licensure, QMHP status, and ability to work flexible hours including regional on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family, Psychology or related mental health field from an accredited institution
- Must be fully licensed in Kentucky (LCSW, LPCC, LPA, LPP, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Carry no history of malpractice or board sanctions
- Must pass Criminal Record Check and Sexual Offender Registry Check
- Ability to work independently regarding scheduling time, organizing workload, completing a variety of task in a timely manner, and functioning with professionals from other disciplines in a cooperative and helpful manner
- Ability to sit for extended periods during sessions and documentation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and travel between clinic sites or community settings as needed
- Must participate in regional on-call schedule rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with severe mental illnesses, severe emotional disturbances and/or substance use disorders in a psychotherapy setting preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support clinic needs
