Job Summary
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, student assessments, and evaluations to determine cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Develop therapeutic goals, treatment plans, and IEP objectives while implementing activities that build problem-solving skills. Collect session data, evaluate progress, and document achievements in quarterly reports and annual reviews. Consult with supervisors and staff on treatment plans, advocate for student transition plans, and provide clinical supervision to non-licensed therapists. Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed, maintain open communication with parents and agencies, and participate in IEP meetings and training requests.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology
- 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services and therapy
- Licensure as Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) if working in Virginia
- Valid driver's license
- 19 years old
