Job Summary
Therapist I or II provides counseling to individuals and families in mental health, substance use, and gambling treatment; trauma-informed care is emphasized; requires licensed mental health credentials (LMHC/LISW/LMFT) and a Master’s degree; 40 hours per week with supervision and training provided, including a quarterly rural stipend; duties include assessment, treatment planning, delivering individual, couple, child and family therapy, crisis intervention, and ensuring timely documentation and billing; participated in collaborative, team-oriented care within Heartland Family Service with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Two years or more experience
- LMHC, LISW, LMFT required
- Valid driver's license/ acceptable driving record
