Job Summary
The in-Circle Program Therapist delivers targeted mental health services and completes required clinical assessments. Responsibilities include clinical oversight and interventions related to the Preliminary Action Plan (PAP), Crisis Management Plan (CMP), and Case Service Plan in coordination with the in-Circle Program team and CPS. Conducts assessments, develops initial clinical goals and interventions with the team and family, facilitates the initial Family Team Meeting with the CPS caseworker, performs weekly case plan reviews, implements strength-based, family-centered clinical treatments, and participates in quality assurance activities. Maintains documentation for each family, prepares program reports, attends weekly staff meetings, adheres to emergency procedures, and promotes Canopy Children’s Solutions programs. Available for 24/7 crisis intervention as needed and may provide transportation when necessary. Requires valid mental health licensure/certification and a Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) within 30 days of employment
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field
- At least two (2) years clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances in a similar or more restrictive placement environment and families with complex needs
- At least 21 years of age, valid driver license, good driving record, proof of auto liability insurance, willingness to use personal vehicle for organization business
