Job Summary
Therapist role providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy with assigned patients, including assessment, coordination of care, discharge planning, and case management. Performs diverse therapeutic services (including specialized therapies such as EMDR, family therapy, art therapy, and SE), contributes to program development and performance improvement, and participates in on-call coverage. Requires a Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field, state licensure (psychologist path if applicable), CPR/First Aid and CPI certification, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of behavioral health experience. Responsible for documenting therapy sessions, communicating with treatment teams, orienting patients to goals, and supporting multidisciplinary care plans. Emphasis on compassionate, professional patient care within residential, outpatient, and virtual treatment settings.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- State licensed. If individual has a doctorate in Psychology they may function as a Therapist but must apply for a license as a Psychologist upon hire, keeping HR informed of progress.
- CPR & First Aid Certified.
- CPI Certified.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Driver Safety Training
- Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
