Job Summary
Therapist for our Integrated Services Program (Foster Care and Independent Living) providing individual, family, and group therapy across office, school, and home environments. Responsibilities include completing intakes and assessments, leading treatment planning, ensuring medical necessity, maintaining bills and authorizations, and collaborating with foster parents, school personnel, and treatment team. Requires strong clinical skills, licensure eligibility (LSW/LCSW/LICSW/LPCC or equivalent), ability to travel between locations, and proficiency with core software applications. Will deliver services in multiple environments, transport clients as needed, and maintain complete and accurate records while aligning treatment goals with outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree and professional licensure (LSW—with contingency of obtaining LGSW, LCSW, LICSW or LPCC, LPC) (West Virginia only)
- Advanced Degree in a human services discipline with preferred experience in mental health treatment of children with emotional or behavioral disabilities and licensure capable of providing clinical services (Kentucky only)
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a human services discipline with one (1) year of experience in mental health treatment and three (3) years in mental health treatment of children with disabilities (Ohio only)
- Valid driver’s license and required insurance coverage
- Willingness to travel
- Successful completion of required criminal background checks
- Proficiency with software (Microsoft Office, Database, EHR)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a human services discipline
- Professional licensure (LSW with contingency of obtaining LGSW, LCSW, LICSW or LPCC, LPC) or equivalent
- Advanced degree in human services with licensure capable of providing clinical services (LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, LPA, LMFT or other board approved licensure)
- One year of experience in mental health treatment with three years preferred for children and families (Ohio/Kentucky references)
- Valid driver’s license and required insurance
- Willingness to travel
- Criminal background checks clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database, Electronic Health Record systems
