Job Summary
Assess clinical needs of parents, caregivers, and children served by JFCS Child Safety FAST Services and provide individual and family therapy based on assessed needs. Evaluate all child safety concerns and share information with the assigned Case Manager. Deliver in-person and telehealth therapy while developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with families and children. Create and maintain appropriate clinical records, including biopsychosocials, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Participate in consultations with supervisors, case managers, and protective investigators regarding individual cases. Communicate regularly with FAST FSCs, supervisors, and clinical staff about case updates and progress. Assist in program development, planning, and quality improvement initiatives as requested. Attend required trainings, in-service sessions, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited college or university
- Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Florida (LMHC, LCSW or LMFT)
- Clear a Level II background screening
- Clear a reference check (professional and personal)
- Clear a local background check from Duval County and the County in which you reside
- Clear a drug screen
- Clear a Motor Vehicles Records check
- Provide proof of, and maintain a minimum personal auto bodily injury liability insurance
- Clear an E-Verify check to substantiate that the successful candidate meets the Department of Homeland Security authorization requirements to work in the United States
