Job Summary
Assess, coordinate, and discharge plan for assigned patients by initiating contact with family members and outpatient providers. Conduct individual, family, specialized, and group psychotherapy while documenting all sessions and seeking clinical supervision when complications arise. Facilitate specialized interventions including Equine, Art, EMDR, and SE therapy as assigned. Act as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to communicate clinical concerns and recommendations. Support program development and performance improvement measures per facility licensure requirements. Provide on-call coverage as requested. Requires a Master's degree in Behavioral Health, state licensure, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- State licensed
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- CPI Certified
- Valid Drivers License
- Driver Safety Training
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally and appropriately
- Ability to effectively respond to customer requests
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, in a clinically accurate and professional manner
- Ability to inform patients and families of clinical program policies
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred
- Prefer experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) within a managed care environment
- Prefer two years experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialist if assigned to conduct specialized therapy
