Job Summary
Under supervision, provides the full range of behavioral health treatment including diagnostic assessment; individual, family and group therapy; crisis intervention; and other treatment/education/consultation services. Ensures services are rendered within scope of practice and in compliance with Medicaid/Medicare, ACHC, OhioMHAS, and CARF guidelines. Demonstrates commitment to quality care through professional growth; uses best practices; maintains safety planning and crisis management; coordinates with afterhours services; emphasizes patient engagement and recovery through tailored treatment planning and community integration activities; maintains proper clinical documentation and HIPAA/42 CFR confidentiality; utilizes EMR and video-conferencing; supports revenue through accurate documentation and ongoing prior-authorizations; collaborates with team to enhance morale and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPC or LSW license through the Ohio CSWMFT Board
- Active dependent license through the Ohio Credentialing Board, CDCA, LCDC-II, or LCDC-III (preferred)
- Heart Saver, Aegis Crisis Prevention, and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate in both written and oral form
- Successful completion of a 180-day probationary period
