Job Summary
Therapist role within a Department of Corrections program providing medication assisted therapy services to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and treatment interventions aligned with the program model, risk assessments, creating individualized person-centered treatment plans, ensuring appropriate discharge planning with natural supports, maintaining client and staff records, providing crisis assessment and intervention, and offering coverage for team members. Work may occur in office, home, residential, or community-based settings; includes participation in weekly supervision and possible transportation of clients. Requires Master’s Degree or higher and licensure/certification in applicable clinical fields (e.g., LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A; LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Licensed Psychologist preferred; LADC may substitute in some programs) and valid driver’s license; CHR training and related certifications may be pursued. Required Qualifications
