Job Summary
Provide a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, and body scrubs using techniques tailored to guest needs. Conduct thorough consultations to assess wellness goals and recommend appropriate products, while educating guests on skincare benefits and at-home care. Perform treatments with precision, maintaining cleanliness in treatment rooms and adhering to strict hygiene standards. Promote special offers to encourage bookings and upsells, while assisting with administrative tasks like scheduling and inventory management. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills in wellness trends and service best practices. This role requires certification as a Massage Therapist or Esthetician, proficiency in English, and flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 onboard cruise ship operation.
Required Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist, Esthetician, or other relevant wellness practitioner
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality setting
- demonstrated proficiency in performing a variety of spa treatments and therapies
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of massage techniques, skincare treatments, and bodywork modalities
