Job Summary
Provide ongoing mental health services to adult and child clients, families, couples, and groups through in-person, telehealth, and home-visit assessments as outlined in treatment plans. Conduct clinical assessments, crisis interventions as needed, maintain case records, participate in case consultations and program planning, travel to Catholic Charities sites as required, and meet monthly productivity targets while ensuring compliance with policies and education requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) or related field from a regionally accredited institution
- One year or three years preferred of clinical training or internship experience in community mental health, outpatient, school, or hospital settings
- Completion of licensure in Illinois as AMFT, LSW, LPC or related credential recommended within one year of employment or Licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred (must pass a bilingual assessment)
- Training and experience in clinical assessments and outpatient psychotherapy
- Competence in providing culturally sensitive interventions to diverse clientele
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest and skill in networking and community outreach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working within an electronic health record system (Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
