Job Summary
Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs, performing comprehensive psychological assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention for acute mental health episodes and facilitate skill-building in anger management and coping with life transitions. Maintain detailed confidential client records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals. Stay current with best practices in counseling psychology and behavioral health. Work Sunday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Bradford Health Services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field that is eligible for licensure
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent
- eligibility for licensure with the ability to obtain full licensure within an established timeframe upon hire
- Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, including individual and group therapy
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to client-centered care
- Sunday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized training or certification in family therapy, anger management, or trauma-informed care
- Experience working with diverse populations across different age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms
- Additional credentials such as Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) or equivalent
- Experience in program development or community outreach related to mental health services
