Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions under supervision while delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs. Perform comprehensive assessments, screenings, and intakes to identify diagnoses, then develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that evolve based on progress. Collaborate with clinical teams, attend staffing meetings, and provide updates on treatment progress while maintaining accurate documentation according to regulatory standards. Offer crisis intervention services when needed and assist with transitioning clients through different levels of care. Provide supervision and consultation when qualified, ensuring adherence to professional ethics and community partner relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional licensure with the appropriate Missouri board (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT)
- Must be able to attain full licensure by completing supervision and passing licensing exams
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states, if required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Requires current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic criteria for mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
- Knowledge of court procedures and legal considerations in treatment settings
- Must attain Behavioral Management training (e.g., CPI or Verbal De-escalation) based on program
- Must complete Collaborative Service Goals training within 30 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided)
