Job Summary
Activity Therapist, Inpatient responsible for designing and delivering activity-based therapies within an inpatient setting. Develops initial and ongoing treatment plans with specific, measurable goals; selects and administers patient-centered activities aligned to cultural, religious, and developmental needs; documents progress and communicates with the treatment team to optimize outcomes; reassesses goals as patient conditions change; provides guidance to clinical and unit staff and contributes to program quality and patient engagement through varied stimuli and activities tailored to each patient.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in therapy field (Music Therapist, Recreational Therapist, or Art Therapist)
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
