Job Summary

Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders through individual, group, or family therapy sessions. Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop initial discharge plans, and provide ongoing treatment planning while maintaining detailed documentation of services. Manage assigned caseloads, participate in treatment team meetings, and coordinate additional services or referrals as needed. Provide case management, discharge planning, or after-care planning according to the treatment plan. May assist in educating staff on behavior management, training new clinical personnel, and coordinating clinical or educational activities with patients and families. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic attitude, resolve patient complaints, and prioritize patient safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field
  • Four or more years' experience as a therapist
  • Two or more years' experience with the specific population of the facility
  • State or national licensure for professional therapy providers
  • CPR certification
  • de-escalation/restraint certification
  • First aid
