Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and provide clinical services for individuals and families with behavioral health disorders using psychotherapeutic techniques. Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop discharge plans, and lead individual, group, or family sessions tailored to each patient's treatment plan. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all therapy services and manage assigned caseloads while collaborating with the treatment team. Provide initial treatment planning, coordinate additional services, and handle case management, discharge, or aftercare planning as needed. Deliver these services in either inpatient or outpatient settings, prioritizing patient safety and resolving complaints empathetically.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field
- One or more years' experience working with comparable patient population
- Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid
