Job Summary
Engage youth in social, recreational, athletic, and artistic activities within homes and the community while participating in provider team meetings to support healthy functioning. Implement interventions assisting the youth and caregivers, provide coaching for decision-making in crisis and non-crisis situations, and conduct member outreach to link families with appropriate services. Assist in coordinating treatment planning, family therapy, and attendance at care, school, and hospital discharge meetings, including necessary transportation for service delivery. Work evenings and at least one weekend day as part of a collaborative team environment with weekly supervision and monthly training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's or associate's degree from an accredited institution
- counseling or related field
- one year minimum experience working with children/families and adolescents
- child development

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and providers
- High energy level
- superior interpersonal skills
- ability to function in a team atmosphere
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- have access to an operational and insured vehicle
- be willing to use it to transport clients
- Evenings and at least one weekend day is a requirement
- Candidate must be 21 years of age or older
